I have several tables with only create/read/update/delete functions needed, Hibernate has an ability to quickly auto-gen this.
It seems like Portlet factory would be able to do something like this too, I just hate to have to write this code for 50 tables, if the tool can auto-generate it for me.
If not, then perhaps somebody can give me a few best practices, in terms of creating the data services.
Thanks in advance

This is the accepted answer.Portlet Factory 7.0 has a new builder named SQL Data Services which automates a lot of the work in setting up CRUD for a single table. If possible, you may want to look at upgrading to that release.
