    These terms are easily confused and even internally here at IBM we sometimes loosely refer to these by names that are vague or only partially correct.

    'IBM FileNet' usually refers to what was formerly FileNet prior to IBM's acquisition of the company back in 2008. Sometimes however it may loosely refer to the IBM FileNet P8 product line.
    'IBM Content Manager' refers to the IBM CM8 product.

    Oops. Sorry missed that part.

    Here you go:

    CM8 = 8.4.1 or above
    FileNet P8 = 4.5.1 or above
