Hello everyone ,
Does anyone have any idea how to check the flash memory .. I am trying to find the commands for that ..

xi50(config)# flash
Flash configuration mode
xi50(config-flash)# show flash

Sorry, could not show that.

xi50(config)# dir flash

% Directory listing failed: directory not found

xi50(config)# dir flash:

% Directory listing failed: directory not found

I was not able to find much information on flash memory ..

      We know to rollback firmware we get the previous image from flash memory .....

      is there a possiblity or any command to view this image ?

          ahh ..so no way to see this image which would be on DP flash. Gotcha, but would be handy if we can see what's on it.

            It is always the previous firmware image, the device holds two images basically. If you keep old audit log events or if you have not rebooted many times the audit log would be able to show you the previous firmware image used on the device.

                You can always do "co; fl; boot switch".
                After reboot you will "see" what is on "the other side".
                Repeating above command sequence brings your box back to where it was before.

                One use case in testing for this is that you can "store" two different firmware versions on a single box.
                Of course you can test only the active/booted one.

                Btw, I do like XI52/XB62 memory figures ...

                  Yup Hermann .... did this before switching back to previous version...
                  but was curious and wanted to see this image file ( this = previous image file ).
