Looks like the CICS Explorer does not allow CEMT DSN functions. We are VSAM RLS. How do you Quiesce a VSAM RLS File?

    Hi CICSMike,

Sorry you can't work with DSNs using CICS Explorer today. It is one of the objects that have not been implemented yet,

    Cheers ... Grant.

The latest CICS Explorer allows you to update the VSAM RLS QUIESCESTATE attribute to or from QUIESCED or UNQUIESCED.

          1) From the "Physical Data Sets" view, double click (or right-click->Open) the row for the desired VSAM RLS dataset. This will open the Attributes editor tab.
          2) Modify the "Quiesce State" value to or from 'QUIESCED' to 'UNQUIESCED' and hit enter.
          3) Close the Attribute editor by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of the view.
          4) Click 'Yes' to confirm the update.

See IBM technote 1628405 for details...see screen shots attached.
