We just started working with WPF 7 beta and are testing it with the models that we built for the Top Gun course we wrote for Portlet Factory Application Development. We are finding that when we run any service created using SQL Call builders that change data (i.e. insert, update, or delete) the service fails and returns this message:
prepareStatement with auto-generated keys is not supported in this version of DB2 JDBC 2.0 driver.
We tried adding a new SQL Call and Service Operation builder and used the Database Explorer in the SQL Call builder thinking that maybe something was different about using new builder calls versus using models that we wrote in earlier versions of WPF. It didn't make any difference. We have been using these models in 6.1.5 as well as in several earlier version.
These failures happen when using the testing features in a service provider model and when using Data Page in a service consumer model.
Attached is the error message and below that message, in the same file, I included all of the messages from the general.txt log file.
We're trying to narrow down the problem and want some input from the Portlet Factory team before we go trying to change jdbc drivers, etc.
Can you help us understand what's going on here?
Puzzled by Portlet Factory?
We've got the answers.
