Pinned topic AMQ9741 : IBM Websphere MQ v7.0.1.2 on Windos 7 and 64 bit hardware

‏2010-05-28T10:37:03Z |
I installed version 7.0.1.2 of IBM Websphere MQ on window 7 OS and a 64 bit machine.
According to http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27011920
7.0.1.2 should support this operating system and hardware.

I am getting this error when with IBM Websphere MQ. This happens when I try to start (strmqikm) the gui key-tool but also if I try to use the runmqckm command in comandline console. I found other people reporting a similar problem but there are no solutions posted.

ACTION: Consult the Windows reference manual to determine the meaning of return code '2' for operation 'CreateProcess'.

I know this is an old thread, but I ran into a similar issue today. It appears to have been caused by disabling SSL 2.0 as described in the following article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/187498. Backing out the changes and reenabling SSL 2.0 and PCT 1.0 resolved the issue.

I have checked the article, but the registry for SSL does not appear, what should I do here?

    Any help is very appreciated.
