Pinned topic Make it Fail

‏2010-05-21T16:43:42Z |
Hi All,

Is there a way to make buildforge project to fail from a project step.

For eg. i want to create a conditional step, whenever condition pass i want continue to the next step of the project, incase of condition not met i want to make it fail, i tried to see if there any dot command available for it but i couldn't find anything,

Any ideas?

.buildstatus Fail will cause the job to fail, although all steps will run, and the step will show successful completion (the .buildstatus Fail worked). To get the step itself to fail, you can create any command that will always fail as the last command. I set the .buildstatus to an illegal setting, for example .buildstatus Quit will fail the step.
