Could webseal pass on custom attribute values stored in LDAP via http headers to back end servers defined in the junction specification?

Yes any user-specific information from LDAP can be sent to backend servers through junctions using http-tag values.
check the link below for detailed info.

      Thank you for the response.

The URL speaks about the http-tag configuration settings on the webserver plugin configuration and does not indicate that these settings are supported on webseal configuration.

Request to elaborate your response in case i am missing some thing here. - Thanks in advance

        Sure they can

        webseald-default.conf:tagvalue_credattrs_employeeNumber=topSecretLDAPStuff

        On the junction
        HTTP-Tag-Value credattrs_employeeNumber1=employeeNumbe

          Hi All,

I am new to  IBM TAM implementations so may be this question is very basic. Is it possible to inject some custom constant value Header  to the request to the junction. The Idea is for the backend server to know that the request is coming from WebSEAL.

Let me know if you need more information
