I'm rather new to Apex, and I've been searching without much luck for some good documentation on the syntax of the .Rational/directory_rules file.
I'd like to have an "action shell" rule which will start one type of shell on an HP-UX machine, but a different shell on a Solaris machine.
Thanks for any information or guidance you can offer.

Re: directory_rules syntax - OS conditionals?2010-04-09T16:53:47Z in response to mvpelI realized moments after I posted this that I can use an "sh -c" command line to do the conditional within a miniature shell script for the shell action, but I'm still curious as to the syntax of directory_rules and whether it has any conditional operators.
