Pinned topic Client API - How do I acquire UserInformation objects?

‏2010-04-01T16:30:44Z |
Probably a stupid question - when I find out what the answer is but ..

What is the accepted strategy for locating a 'UserInformation' objects so that asset owners can be updated via the client API.

I can conceive of a mechanism of creating dummy assets, one per owner, then search for the asset and retrieving its owner's UI to use to update other assets - but this just doesn't fell right. The nearest I can find is RAM1.getUsers(userIds) but RAM1 seems to be an internal packaged class.

Thanks

You can use RAMSession.getUser(String) to get a user information object.

Thanks for the quick reply, I knew I was going to regret the question! - I'd missed that method, for some reason I convinced myself I could only retrieve the current user. Again, Thanks.
