Hi all,

Does anything have or know of a good tool to read broker core dumps?

    Coredumps are platform dependent. On windows, Broker generates mini-dumps. You can download "Windows debugging Tools" for Windows. On UNIX based systems, dbx (must be installed as a separate component) is great tool.

    Most of the informtion already present in the abend file. Very rarely you'd find a need to "read" coredumps.

      Hi,

      Thanks.

      DBX, must this be run as user "root" on Unix platforms?

      ISA, is useful for the collection of logs and data but does not help with the analysis.
