Pinned topic WS MQ for Windows V6.0 - MQ Explorer hangs on opening

‏2010-03-16T00:38:10Z |
I have installed WS MQ for Windows V6.0 on Win XP (SP3) successfully and when opening MQ Explorer, the Splash screen appears and then hangs. The Splash screen eventually disappears, but nothing else happens(even after hours). Other members of our team have it installed and do not suffer this issue. The entry in the AMQERR01.LOG is as follows

03/16/10 11:27:46 - Process(5668.1) User(stepperg) Program(javaw.exe)
AMQ6118: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (0)

EXPLANATION:
An error has been detected, and the MQ error recording routine has been called.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support
center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.

I have uninstalled all other versions of Java, both IBM and SUN.

Can you please advise of a fix as this is stopping priority system testing for my project
