I have openssh running on a linux box at home and connect to it from work so that I can create a secure connection. Does openssh keep a log of websites visited? Or is there some other program within the linux box that will keep a log of the websites that I visited while I was using the ssh tunnel at work?

SSH is Secure SHell, so you have a shell connection to the Linux box at home. If you're running a terminal program you normally log the last several hundred things in the history file. If you're using a browser or some other application to access web pages from the shell you might want to look at logging facilities within the application. If you're looking for all traffic out of the box, maybe look at setting up a firewall with logging capabilities.
