IBM has a free one-time 60-day trial assuming you are on a Power 750, 770 or 780 and are running AIX 6.1 TL4 SP2. All you will have to do is visit the Power Capacity on Demand Web page and request a code. http://www.ibm.com/systems/power/hardware/cod/. I checked today and learned the site isn't quite ready for Act Mem Exp trial requests, but expects to be ready by mid March.
You can also do some research on nonPOWER7 servers using the amepat tool to get some estimates in AIX 6.1 TL4 SP2 partitions.
