Pinned topic Change color of fields

‏2010-02-19T11:29:56Z |
Hello everybody,
I wonder if it's possible to change the color of a field (back color, or text color) on a certain condition and, if so, can you plesa explain me how to?.
Thank you

For example: have red color for CURBALTOTAL when it is less than MINLEVEL.

    Hi Sqrisket,

Yes, it is possible to change the layout of afield and text in maximo. It is done with the help of cascading style sheets (CSS) files. You can find the css classnames under <root-maximo>\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient.

you can find the detials of how to use this in maximo application developer guide. Just have a look

What if you really don't want to apply any conditions and you just simply want the background color of a field to be a different color than other fields? How woud you do that? I've tried a couple of things and neither worked.
