Pinned topic solid 4.1 / Corrupt database

‏2010-01-21T19:31:35Z |
Hello,
I cannot start Solid Engine, even with commands -xignoreerrors and -xignorecrashed, and got this error message:
Status: 813@dbe8flst.c
Code: 11009 (SU_ERR_FILE_FREELIST_CORRUPT)
The Solid backup folder and Log folder are destroyed by accident, i have only the Solid database folder to work with. Is there a way to recover data in this case?
Regards,
Duke

    Hello Duke,

It might be that it is not possible to recover your database without the involvement of the development lab. Even that does not guarantee success because the extent of the destruction is unknown. Anyway, to proceed, we need to know:

    1. The customer name and address
    2. Database size
    3. Description of conditions, or events, that led to the corruption
    4. Additionally, please, try to run the database block test with
    solid -x testblocks
If the run is successful, the result will be in 'ssdebug.log'. Check the value in the BAD BLOCK entry and tell us.

Please, communicate the above directly to me, at
    antoni.wolski@fi.ibm.com
