Pinned topic V6.0.1.4 - Ephox and Mac

‏2009-12-11T23:52:05Z |
Wanted to see if anyone has experienced the loss of informaiton in a RTE (using Ephox0 when creating a new draft of an existing content item.

Also, if you are using Ephox in v6.0.x.x and you have an issue who do you call, IBM support or Ephox?

Thanks,

Joe

    Joe -

There should be no issues with using EditLive and LWCM on a Mac. I do this for all of my demos on V6.1.0.x without issue. Our cross platform support is an area we take seriously.

If you are using the OEM Edition of EditLive (the one that is supplied by IBM) you will need to open a PMR directly with IBM (this is our contractual agreement with IBM). If you are using our Enterprise Edition you can open a support ticket directly with Ephox at: http://www.ephox.com/support/request.html

Regardless of who you need to contact for support it would help to get a debug log before you open the ticket. The details for how to do that can be found at:

Have also issues on SL with the Ephox RTE. Any save actions will clear the RTE field. WPortalTextArea incompatible with WTextEntry. Ripping out Ephox.

Ok... Found it... If you set the summary field's height > 1; saving seems to fail. Can't test it on any other platform, but this seems to be the issue. Tested on 6.1.5; on Safari and Firefox running on Snow Leopard. WCM issue, not Ephox.
