I have changed the existing .msg files to make the changes in the out of the box email generated via FileNet workplace.
Then restarted the PE server through PTM.Is there any other thing that need to be done.The location for the .msg file is FNSW_LOC/sd/msg/1/stp_new.msg
The email generated is triggered as a notification when the participant was assigned a new step.
But the changes are not reflecting.
I also tried to completely remove that msg folder,and restrated the PE server.But the email is still sent as an notification in the same format.
I am stuck with this problem.If somebody have faced the same issue,Please let me know the solution.

This is the accepted answer.Solution is to first select the language pack u made in PTM,and then check the checkbox update email templates and give the specified path of the templates, it will reload the templates and their changes in effect.
