Pinned topic Problem installing wasce 2.1.1.3 server on Eclipse

while installing server for eclipse i hav encountered the following problem.

Missing classpath entry C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServerCommunityEdition\lib\bootstrap.jar

i cant fine any file named bootstrap.jar in wasce folder.
please help.

    This is weird because bootstrap.jar seems a lib of tomcat instead of WAS CE. Before we answer your question, can you please tell us

    1, your Eclipse version
    2, your WEP version
    3, your WAS CE version

    This is weird because bootstrap.jar seems a lib of tomcat instead of WAS CE. Before we answer your question, can you please tell us

    1, your Eclipse version
    2, your WEP version
    3, your WAS CE version

    ?
    Versions:
    • Eclipse Indigo
    • WEP not sure what's this ... but
    • WAS CE 3.0

    I have the same problem prior described when I try to develop a webapp in Eclipse it ask me for the

    any hint in how to fix it, is more than welcome

    You are using choosing websphere Application Server 6.0 instead of as your server type, it's not right type for WASCE. Please make sure you have installed the plugin for WASCE according to the instruction in [1], after you installed the plugin, you can create a server with instructions in [1]. Hope it helps.

    You are using choosing websphere Application Server 6.0 instead of as your server type, it's not right type for WASCE. Please make sure you have installed the plugin for WASCE according to the instruction in [1], after you installed the plugin, you can create a server with instructions in [1]. Hope it helps.
