Pinned topic Bug in oledb process making my model infeasible

[MJEber said:]

I have a model that reads in ships and the possible trips each ship can make.
The original data is read inline and I'm printing out my ships for testing purposes.
When inline code is used and the ships are printed I get this:

'Mesabi Minor'
'James R. Barker'
'Pathfinder'

and the model executes to completion.

When I read from the database doing [  shipData from DBRead(db, "EXECUTE GetShipData");  ]
I get this:

'James R. Barker'
'Mesabi Miner'
'Pathfinder'

and I also get an infeasible model.  If I change this:  [ setof(arc) TripArcs  = ...; ] to this : [ setof(arc) TripArcs    with ship in Ships = ...; ] it reports the following error:

Data not consistent for "ship": "Mesabi Minor" not in "Ships"

Yet as you can see from above, Mesabi Minor is INDEED in Ships.  The only difference between my feasible model and my infeasible model is that I'm reading the ship data from the database.

Does anyone from ILog have a suggestion????

    hello there,
it is very difficult to say anything without the actual code + data... I would say that the inline data and the data in the DB don't match...
I don't know if you cut&pasted your print outs in your post, but I just noticed, that you have

    'Mesabi MinOr'
    then
    'Mesabi MinEr'
and then in the text again
    'Mesabi MinOr'

could it be the source of the problem?
    cheers
