[Boon said:]

Hi,

When I solve the model in ODM, and look at the solution, the display of costs is in this format ##,###.### I would like to be ##,###

How can I do this?

I found that in OPL, when click on modelname.odmvw, there is a setting for value format. What value should I put in here?

Thank you,
Boon

    Hi,

you can see example in doc, for example in :
ILOG Optimization Decision Manager 3.1 > ODM User's Manual > Advanced usage > Configuring ODM Studio in XML

    It uses Java Format.
    Something like
    {0,number,#####}
May be what you look for.

You can find extended documentation on the web, e.g. in http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/MessageFormat.html

      Hi,

Thanks for the answer. It is working now.

By the way, I tried to do the same in Analysis>Goals section. But OPL doesn't allow me to do so. It says "This view is predefined, its content is not editable".

Is there a workaround to do this for Goals?

      thanks,

In the optimmodel editor (odmom editor), in the tag Goal, for each goal you have a cell value format, so you can do the same for goals.
