I have 1.2million document objects that contain a data format that cannot be CBR-indexed correctly.
The document's content are stored on an EMC Centera fixed content device.
I have to rebuild the CBR index on the object store that currently contains these objects.
So I would like to move these 1.2million un-CBR-able documents out of this object store to save CBR-indexing time.
It would be great to move these objects to a different file store w/out moving the content.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks for any help.

This is the accepted answer. As soon as you will try to move the objects out of one object store to other it will create a new brand new object in other object store and will need the storage location. I don't think you can point the storage location to an existing content. I think there is no way you can move the pointer to existing content peice. But this is just me. Other chime in please if you know more.
