index was regenerated.

What do you mean when you say broekn? All searches failed to return results? Or new items were not searchable? Please clarify. Also did you have any memory issues on the file system?

It never returns back anything and happens on all the portal servers we have here. The portal servers were all migrated from wp 6.0. At the beginning, it thrown an exception saying that
the index was corrupted. After I removed the index directory and the index was recreated,
there were no exceptions in the log when doing the search, but it returns nothing. I enabled trace
to the those packages from the exception stacks, did not find anything special.

We still have plenty disk spaces.

    Thanks.

Did you verify that textsearch is enabled in the icm.properties file:
    jcr.textsearch.enabled=true

Also is the search folder fully created and populted, meaning do you have path like this:

    wp_profile\PortalServer\jcr\search\1\ with sub directories A, B, F1, F2 ?

Yes. I checked the configuration and compared the icm.properties file with the
one on my laptop, which is working fine. I can see four subfolders A, B, F1, F2.

I am using db2 on my lap top and our authoring/dev /qa/prod servers are using oracle.
That why I am asking does this search involes database.

(We also have another problem with PZN WCM resource collections. It never returns any content items
on all our servers. There is no exceptions in the log file but there is an Oracle exception in
    the trace file for this)

    Thanks,

The attached is the exception I got with PZN WCM resource collections. It also never returns any content items.
I am not sure if they are relevant.

    Thanks.

They are relevant, it's occuring when JCR is trying to run the query to retrieve the nodes. I would have your DBA have a look.

The problem solved after increasing the minimum connection pool size of the jcr database.

    Thanks.
