Pinned topic 61485 ***Internal Error ***

Hi,

We are getting an error while loggin on datastage -
Failed to discover supported platform information from vmdsobj.dll. Ensure this dll is installed and registered correctly.

Please help to resolve the issue.

    I have the same error after un-install and re-install Datastage client. Did you have a solution ?

    We are having the same issue against only one of the DataStage servers. We are able to connect to all other DataStage servers without any issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hi,

    I found in a forum that some of the prerequisite has not been installed, like the latest version of .NET or something like that. So check all the prerequisite like Oracle 10 (Metadata Repository for IBM Information server).
