Pinned topic SM10 in Ubuntu 9.04

Hi boys, i want install SM10.50 in my super Ubuntu, buy the installation Fail. someone has installed to helpme??

    unfortunately DS3000/4000/5000 are not supported for your super Ubuntu and of course no SM10.50 for this OS.
    Use only supported OS from compatibility list:

    System Storage Interoperation Center (SSIC)
    http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/support/storage/config/ssic/displayesssearchwithoutjs.wss

    You don't have to resort to Windows; SM 10 is supported on RHEL, and although it is not a supported configuration, I have been able to install it on Fedora. It does use RPM packaging internally, so I think making it work on Ubuntu or other .deb based distro would be trickier.

    Hello i install fedora 11 in my thinkpad t400 instead of ubuntu and install Storage Manager 10.50 and it works. Only only disable the effects and this works.

    I close this case witch happy end.

    Hi,

    Although Ubuntu isn't officially supported. DS Storage Manager 10 has been reported to work on Ubuntu 11.
    I have managed to get it working.
