High Frequency Trading - Looking for someone to develop HF strategies in multiple asset classes. The person should be proficient in C++/Linux, can generate creative ideas, and be able to handle details efficiently. You will be asked to solve complex technology problems you will have a real “software” focus and the firm leverages their technology to drive the trading strategies

Opportunity to work on all aspects of the system from front end, middle-tier, back-end database NOT looking for a specialist in a certain aspect of a system; technologists are always part of entire process… Software engineers will design solutions, test their functions, roll it into Production, and support the systems as well will be truly in control of these systems.

Pure C/C++/LINUX in environment; emphasis on memory management, data structures and algorithms; development will be fast paced, their will be performance issues with developing these systems. Need emphasis on reliability, speed, performance, sustainability.

Must have the ability to clearly demonstrate during interview the complexity of the systems you are working on in great detail.

Qualifications
MS/PhD Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance from top institution
Hands-on C/C++ Development Experience or someone who is platform agnostic and has no problem picking up languages
Demonstrated experience working on the design, implementation, and deployment of large, complex software projects
Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating system and scripting languages (Shell, Perl)
Strong skills in User-Oriented Design
Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented design
Working knowledge of Financial Markets a plus
