Pinned topic User Permissions Error

‏2009-07-01T07:47:08Z |
Hello !

I am working with DB2 Express-C 9.7 on SLES 10

When I connect to a database with a new user, I get the following error:
db2 => connect to MyDatabase
SQL1326N The file or directory
"/appl/IBM/db2/Databases/db2inst1/NODE0000/sqldbdir/sqldbdir" cannot be accessed.

.profile (new user)

export PATH=$PATH:/home/db2inst1/sqllib/bin
export DB2DIR=/appl/IBM/db2/V9.7
export DB2INSTANCE=db2inst1

Any solution to this problem?

    Re: User Permissions Error

    Check the directories permissions for all the directories mentioned in the path. The directories permission must be 775.

    If it is not set to 775 then change the directories permission to 775.

    This should resolve the issue.
