Pinned topic TBSM v4.1 - error message in impartSchema.out file

‏2009-06-29T08:53:23Z |
Hi,

When installing TBSM v4.1, I encountered the error message "ERROR=Object not found on line 15 of statement" in the $NCHOME/InstallTBSM/importSchema.out file:

bash-3.00$ more importSchema.out
Param 1: InstallDir: /netcool/installation
Param 2: Name/Location of RAD Schema file to use: /netcool/installation/InstallTBSM/sql/tbsm_db_update.sql
Param 3: Pass in the schema validation string to use: RAD_
Param 4: The ObjectServer name to use (NCOMS): NCOMS
Param 5: The ObjectServer user name to use (root): root
Param 6: The ObjectServer password to use (): hidden
Running: export NCHOME=/netcool/installation
Running: export OMNIHOME=/netcool/installation/omnibus

Verifying schema
Running: echo "describe alerts.status;go" | /netcool/installation/omnibus/bin/nco_sql -s NCOMS -u root -p hidden | grep RAD_ | wc -l

Schema import has been completed successfully. 31 rows found.
bash-3.00$

The importSchema.err file did not report any error message - it's zero in size. Similarly for the tbsmInstall.err file.

Could anyone point out to me what does that error message mean ? And what are the potential causes of this error message ? How do I rectify this error during the installation phase ?

Thanks in advance!
Danny.

Did you get past this error? You could read the .sql file in again, or at least review what it was doing against the ObjectServer to see if the new fields were added?

    Hi,
I think it was the error related to the drop table service_deps.If it initailly created it was droped. But if it does not exist in the database it shows the error like that. For more information verify the "tbsm_db_update.sql" file.
