I created a 'Portable Collector' for the 'VCE Topology Collector' and tried to run startcollector_zseries.sh on z/OS but the script fails. In the log I found the following exception:
2009.05.26-14.47.00.910+0100¨ AutoPD main Component:com.ibm.autopd.common.AntProjectInvocation CWPDC5016E Build Exception encountered. Exception:/home/l89514/vce/scripts/sharedelements/sharedelements-sharedtargets.xml:280: The following error occurred while executing this line:
How can I get the startcollector_zseries.sh script executed successfully? The same collector runs successfully on e.g. Windows.

Re: startcollector_zseries.sh fails2009-05-26T19:38:53Z in response to SystemAdminCherr,
The ISA collectors do not support zSeries or iSeries. To use VCE with these these platforms, you'll have to use the VCE Headless Automation Runtime to do the configuration collection. Please refer to Help->VCE->Tasks->Automation->VCE Headless Automation Runtime for more information. Please note that you may use the Headless Runtime on all platforms supported by WebSphere.
