Pinned topic Sharing File Resource Elements

‏2009-05-14T19:28:12Z |
I am using 6.0.1.5.

Given a content item that has a PDF attachment using a File Resource Element (not a File Resource Component), is there a way to link directly to that PDF from another piece of content?

I would like an answer to this one too.

The only way I was able to get it to work was to hard code a link in the html code in the rich text editor. Copying the url from the page that has the pdf attached and then removing the first part of the url to make it a relative url. As below. I'd like a more user firendly way to do it for the standard users though.
