Pinned topic IBM Ajax Lightbox Problem

‏2009-05-09T14:49:34Z |
I've downloaded this: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-ajaxxml6/ and now I have a problem. I am trying to integrate it into a script. But here comes the problem. When I try to use it, I get this: +if ($(id))
alert("Window " + id + " is already registered in the DOM! Make sure you use setDestroyOnClose() or destroyOnClose: true in the constructor");
+

I am including this in header, where I have some other js files(jquery and tabs).

ANy solution?

    AdyMareshal,

When you say "I get this:..." can you expand a little more?

Where are you seeing that? What broswer are you using? What do you expect to see?

Do you have a public webpage that recreates this problem that we can see?

    Thanks

    There's a website here: http://www.bestoftheleftpodcast.com/about-me/
which has a link on it which reports the weird Javascript error.
The link on the page is "Leave Me a Voice Message".
The weird error is "Window 1 is already registered in the DOM! Make sure you use setDestroyOnClose() or destroyOnClose: true in the constructor".

I'm using Firefox 5.0., but the same error happens on Safari and IE.

This seems like something is wrong in the open-source javascript being used on the site.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello,

I'm having the same issue, however after upgrading to IE9, the error went away. On Firefox 5 and Safari, error still the same. "make sure you use setDestroyOnClose()..."
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you
