I am running Director 6.1. I have created a simple event filter basically set up to pick up everything from my AIX 6.1 servers. Here are the options I selected:
Event type: Any
Description: I didn't enter anything in this field.
Sender name: Any (I also tried to specify a particular server)
Event text: Any
I then created an event automation plan, using my newly created event and setting "add to the event log" as the event action, to be run "24/7" and even selected "Apply this event automation plan when I click Finish".
Having done that, I would assume that any event that pop int to errpt should be picked up by Director and put in the event log. This is not the case. I tried forcing an entry in to the errpt log using "errlogger" but nothing shows up in the Director event log. I do get events such as agent stoppped, agent started, user root logged in etc....
Given the described setup I have, should I be able to see entries from my errpt? Or does this just not a function of Director 6.1
Thanks in advance for any feedback,

But when vdisk loses a path (dual vio), a PERM entry is made in errpt , but ISD agent does not pick it up.
Any idea why ?
