Pinned topic Datastage 7.5.2: How do I export table defs?

‏2009-01-13T22:24:45Z |
I am creating documentation for our migration project and we want a Word document to list all our table and attribute definitions.

I am using Datastage Manager to export table definitions, but I cannot get it in a format that's ready for cutting and pasting. This is what I get:

BEGIN DSSUBRECORD
Name "TIME_UPD"
SqlType "1"
Precision "26"
Scale "0"
Nullable "1"
KeyPosition "0"
DisplaySize "0"
LevelNo "0"
Occurs "0"
SignOption "0"
SyncIndicator "0"
PadChar ""
ExtendedPrecision "0"
TaggedSubrec "0"
OccursVarying "0"
END DSSUBRECORD

That is for one attribute. As you can see, it will be too tedious to gather all the information. Probably best to just type the information manually.

Does anyone know of a better way?

Thanks in advance.
