Environment : Cognos 8.3 RS, FM,QS Database : Oracle10.2

All of our business transactions are stored in GMT. The current business application interface displays to users data in their local time zone.

Users would like to see their REPORT OUTPUTS in their local time as well.

I have checked knowledge base documents 1030387.1 and 1030387.7

The solution given the documents wholly depends on users cognos connection local time setting and parameter maps set in FM (How can day light saving time be handled in the parameter lookup is another whole differnt issue?. Do we need to publish the packages every time day light saving time changes?)

My problem is when user manages two different sales offices (which happens to be in two different time zones), he can not schedule report which needs to be run for 2 different time zones.

Is there any other way elegant way handling time zone conversion?

Has any body have a solution?

Thanks in advance.
