I’m having some problems implementing some client requirements on Capture batch names.
I’ve a batch seed that reading some barcodes/patch pages separates images into new batches. These new batches must have on their names a property from the batch seed (batch seed name or substring of the name of the batch seed) but I don’t know how to do it.
Batch seed name like “MyBatchSeed nº 1234566” and I want to create new batches with the following name:
001 - MyNewBatch nº 1234566 of 12/12/2008
002 - MyNewBatch nº 1234566 of 12/12/2008
003 - MyNewBatch nº 1234566 of 12/12/2008
Anyone knows if this is possible and how can I do it?
I’ve installed the following components that could help on this: docProcessing and ADR

Re: Capture Professional - Automatic batch naming2009-09-18T19:49:03ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer. The Event Activator is where you will set up your batch name criteria for naming the batch, If you are pulling information from the barcode text. You will need to scan in a document with the barcode and run in thru doc processing and then copy the document and paste it underneath your settings collection. You can then pull the barcode(text)information in the event activator. Your capture path would be something like scan, docprocessing, event activator, assembly ect.....
