now this hqas been bugging me for a whole day with little progress.
I am trying to connect to an server on a socket 126.96.36.199:446, but I can't find out how to change to por 446 from the default 8471.
I have tried construcys like
under my DSN in /etc/odbc.ini
I can connect just fine using, eg:
cwbping /port:446 188.8.131.52
I have tried specifying Port in the DSN-string in my PHP-code, also with different constructs.
So, to cut to the chase:
How do I specify the port to connect to on the remote server?

Re: Howto specify port number for I-Series Access ODBC2008-12-12T11:01:11ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.Duh,
8471 was the right port to connect to but the admin in the other end gave me the wrong port, as he thought I was to connect to the ddm-rdb-port. 8471 is now open in the firewall and my application runs fine.
