Pinned topic WTX 8.2.0.3 - FTP adapter question

‏2008-11-04T16:19:09Z |
Do you know if this adapter has changed for WTX 8.2.0.3?

My process since Merc 6.7, to WTX 8.1.0.2, goes out to ftp server (thru firewall) to pull files in using FTP adapter.
It works fine. At the end of each directory (folder) that files being pulled, it cleaned up and "quit".

The trace file showed (I just put the last part here, not the whole trace file)

No data received.
Cleanup call from prior Rollback; re-initializing instance storage.
Map return is 0.
Data in C:\DOCUME~1\SVCEDI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\6DD2.tmp deleted.
Run Completed at 08:51:14.267 on 11/04/08. Cleanup deferred.

<QUIT
>221 (S)
Socket Closed.
Connection closed.
WSATerm: Entering
WSATerm: bWSStarted = 1, nWSClients = 9
Sockets Client ID 9 disabled.
WSATerm: nWSClients remaining = 8
WSATerm: Exiting --
Run Completed at 08:51:52.876 on 11/04/08.

New WTX 8.2.0.3, it does not "quit". So, the next time (schedule to run by time trigger), it timed out. I assume it is because it didn't Quit from the previous run.

Trace file showed:

Any suggestions what I should do? Advise, please.

Thanks.

Have you changed the settings in the dtx.in i file foir ftp

    ;IdleFTP=0
    ;SLimFTP=0
    ;HLimFTP=0
    ;MinFTP=0

They should be the same as in your 6.7 mercator.ini (or is it dstx.ini?) file.

          Change IdleFTP=0
           to IdleFTP=1

and it should force new connection each time.. thats the only way i guess
