Pinned topic How do I control affinity when using OpenMPI and OpenMP on Power systems?

‏2008-11-04T14:54:10Z |
Got a question from a customer on how to mix and match processor affinity when using OpenMPI processes across several systems with OpenMP threads under those individual processes.

It was noted that Linux on Power provides controls via numerous mechanisms, including numactl, taskset, and the IBM compiler "XLSMPOPTS" environment variable.

I'm not sure what you mean by "mix and match", but general info and usage on processor affinity in OpenMPI can be found following these links.
