Pinned topic Anyone using Replication services in CS 5.4+ ???

‏2008-10-28T14:00:28Z |
I have a site that is running CS 5.4. We are looking at Disaster Recovery options and it looks like Replication Services might be reasonable. Has anyone used CS Replication services.

Thanks

You could. I have set it up before. Mostly for companies that were replicate engineerings
drawings. That form of replication is for version control though. The key to that is to
make sure the brserver entries are in the etc/hosts when you set up the libraries.

You can replicate the shelves and db, either through replication or backups as well. I've
moved and restored dozens of CS systems and, DR wise, it's no big deal.
