I try to launch the install.exe (IIS 8.0.1 server), it giving me "CreateProcess failed ==> %1 is not a valid Win32 application" error. Previously I have installed IIS 8.0.1 client, but then I uninstalled it because I want to install the IIS 8.0.1 server. My first attempt of installing the IIS 8.0.1 server it given me an error, something like "cannot start the DB2 services" and then it rolled back the installation, so I try to install for the second attempt, it giving me "CreateProcess failed ==> %1 is not a valid Win32 application" error.
I have checked the temp path it is correct (if it has something to do with that).
I need help on how I am going to install it.

Re: Install Error-CreateProcess failed ==> %1 is not a valid Win32 application2008-12-06T01:14:34Z in response to SystemAdminMaybe related to the %temp% directory. I met the same problem when installing a Lotus product.
try run your install with the "-is:tempdir"
Do a set temp to find out your temp dir
then run the install
C:\%Your_App_install_Image_directory%\install -is:tempdir C:\Temp\1
