Pinned topic MQ resource adapter issue on JBoss/Linux

‏2008-09-04T20:05:12Z |
I am seeing hte following error occur on Linux when trying to deploy the wmq.jmsra.rar file:
15:53:30,429 WARN ServiceController Problem starting service jboss.jca:service=RARDeployment,name='wmq.jmsra.rar'
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.ibm.mq.MQEnvironment.setXaLicenseMsg(I)V
at com.ibm.mq.OSE.<clinit>(OSE.java:155)
at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:242)
at com.ibm.mq.MQEnvironment$1.run(MQEnvironment.java:482)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at com.ibm.mq.MQEnvironment.<clinit>(MQEnvironment.java:476)
at com.ibm.mq.connector.ResourceAdapterImpl.<clinit>(ResourceAdapterImpl.java:132)

This is on a clean installation of JBoss 4.2.1; I have the mqetclient.jar file installed in the server/all/lib folder, as determined here:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0710_ritchie/0710_ritchie.html

This same setup works (with the same server) on Windows. Has anyone seen this or knows what cuases it and what might be the workaround?
Thanks,
Caroline.

I experienced exactly the same issue, working on Windows but not in Unix, the error was setXALicenseMsg. And I was able to fix it by installing the new level (release) of the MQ Server I was using the 6.0.1 and I upgrate to 6.0.2.5, then I replace the jar files into my aplication and also into the resource adapter, I mean: com.ibm.mq.jar, com.ibm.mqjms.jar, etc.

Also you can check this url: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&context=SSFKSJ&dc=DB520&dc=DB560&uid=swg21306574&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct171websphere
