Pinned topic eforms - database choice selection

‏2008-07-17T18:52:14Z |
I would like to perform a lookup from a (choice selection field) on an eform and then select a choice from the oracle database.

All of the choices on the eforms appear to be choices entered into the form itself. I don't want to dupliate data - so I want to select from oracle.

Is there an easy way to do this? If anyone can help me clear this up I would apprecate it. Thank You

    Thank you for the information. This is exactly want I wanted to do. I will start to look into the Tokenize piece. Is there any pointers you have to accomplish this?

    Basically, I wanted to have a eForm, so when the employee enters their ID, it will populate with their division managers. Here is my query.

    select c.fname||' '||c.lname
    from dba_table a, dba_table b, dba_table c
    where a.SUP_ID=b.EMP_ID
    and b.SUP_ID=c.SUP_ID
    and a.emp_id='<<EMP_ID>>'

    Thanks again...
