It would appear that Windows XP is not supported by any of the installers you have tried. Try installing onto a machine with Windows Server 2003.

Re: Error While installing IBM ECM...2008-06-23T19:53:48Z in response to SystemAdminDo you think that this could be XP SP3 problem only? I would recommend installing everything on a XP SP2 box first then patch with SP3 to see if the problem appears after that. SP3 hasn't been out that long and who knows what kind of problems ECM may have with the updates.
Re: Error While installing IBM ECM...2008-08-26T09:35:41Z in response to OKRUNMANBefore installing IBM Content Manager V8.* under Windows XP operating system you have to set one environment variable. Below is the variable name and value.
Variable Name IBM_CM_IGNORE_PREREQ
Variable Value CM
