Here is how I made this tutorial work with multiple sites using drupal 5.7. I also used WAMP but all this does is change some paths and make install nice for all the programs. Follow the tutorial but you wont need to import the database.

Create databases for each site.

under sites add your site folder.
copy the settings.php file into it.
modify the settings for your installation.

in your windows hosts file make a separate entry for each site. Copy the default local host entry and change local host to the name of your virtual host (i.e drupal.development).

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 drupal.development
127.0.0.1 drupal.another

in your apache vhostsd folder make a .conf file for each of your site domains. It is the server name that changes for each entry everything else stays the same.

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1>
ServerName drupal.development

DocumentRoot "C:/eclipse/workspace/drupal_development"

Alias /phpmyadmin/ “C:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin2.10.1”
<Directory "C:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin2.10.1">
Options None
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from 127.0.0.1
</Directory>

<Directory "C:/eclipse/workspace/drupal_development">
AllowOverride All
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from All
Allow from 127.0.0.1
</Directory>

CustomLog "C:\wamp\logs\drupal_development-access.log" common
ErrorLog "C:\wamp\logs\drupal_development-error.log"
</VirtualHost>

Since drupal 5.x has an install.php we can use that to set up our databases.
navigate to:
drupal.development/install.php

bingo

eclipse multisite drupal development using drupal 5.x.
