Pinned topic Default WAVES DB Location

‏2008-04-09T20:24:31Z |
I'm trying to use the WAVES stage for the first time, but need to figure out the WAVES DB location. I'm running a search, but there's a lot to go through.

Can anyone here tell me the default location?

What version of QualityStage are you using? Secondly, although WAVES as a Stage is available in QS 7.x and QS 8.x the reference data is a separate licensed component. Do you have this licensed?

I'm uisng QS 8. As to whether or not we have it licensed or not, no one seems to be able to answer that. Oddly enough, I can add the stage in. Why would it even be available if I don't have access to it?

WAVES is an add-on module to QualityStage and the most significant component is the Worldwide reference database of addresses. There is no specific reason why the stage has always been packaged with the product, but the data is a separate licensable component.

If Address Verification is a real requirement of yours I suggest you speak with your IBM rep and ask about the new Worldwide Address Verification Solution. It is replacing WAVES and provides significantly more capabilities.
