I'm writing a CLDC1.1/MIDP2.0 app that is establishing an https connection with a web server. When I deploy this app on a Palm 700p, the code runs fine with no modifications to my installation of J9. When I deploy the app on a Palm 700wx, the code fails to establish the connection. I've tried exporting the SSL certs from the webserver and importing them into the Windows Mobile 5 certificate manager, but that didn't seem to make any difference.
My questions are:
1. why are there differences between the PalmOS and WM5 platforms?
2. how do I get this working on MW5?
Re question 2: I started following the instructions on importing the keys into J9's j2me.keystore , but then I realized that I don't have "IBM's keytool" - it isn't bundled with WEME and it doesn't seem like there is a trial/eval available for the "WebSphere Studio Device Developer / WebSphere Client Technology, Micro Edition" referenced in the support document. So, where can I get IBM's keytool?
