Pinned topic on Cloudscape refresh failure, username and password are sent in clear

we're using Cloudscape 4.0 and when there is a failure of the refresh the username/password of the account are sent in clear text. Is there a good way that you can stop this from happening?

Thanks.

I'm afraid I can't help you with that. I assume that you are referring to a Cloudsync refresh? Cloudsync was discontinued when IBM acquired Informix in 2001 (and with it Cloudscape and Cloudsync). You might try posting an inquiry to the Derby User maillist (derby-user@db.apache.org or derby-dev@db.apache.org) - I believe that some of the former Cloudscape/Cloudsync developers participate in that community and might be willing to advise you.
