    go to tools->library organizer
    choose the functions.bas from latest source folder(6.0 or 6.2), depending on the maximo version.

    build and run.

        Hi ganeshp,

        You can create a ODBC conection with name equal your maximo.properties in the line:

        // Actuate database connection string.
        mxe.report.actuate.db.connectstring=Maximo
        Obs: Create a ODBC conection on the Actuate server.

    In actuate 8 you need to take away parameter values in the connection object since the report will prefer the local values instead of the values sent by parameters.
    In 6.2 you also have a different definition of the decrypt method, but if you don't receive the "function.bas" -error you have probably resolved it already...

    I solved the problem by creating an odbc system dns using the maximo database as the default connection database for the dns.
