When I try to connect to the iSeries, I get an error that I didn't understand, could someone help me in finding what I have to do to solve this error ?
My error message is :
SQL30000N Execution failed because of a Distributed Protocol Error that will
not affect the successful execution of subsequent commands or SQL statements:
Reason Code "0x1254"("02F1"). SQLSTATE=58008
OS : Linux Debian Etch 4.0
Installed software : First, I installed DB2Client and then I installed DB2 Connect Personnal Edition.
I think that I succeded in installing DB2 Connect over DB2 Client.
I also have unixODBC and iSeriesAccess, that allow me to connect to the server using ODBC protocol.
The DB2 connect settings are :
db2 catalog tcpip node node12 remote 10.10.10.10 server 446
db2 catalog db db12 at node node12 authentication dcs
db2 catalog dcs db db12 as RDB
db2 connect to db12 user mylogin using mypass
The error is thrown with the last command.
I activate drda trace and the end of the trace file is :
7 data DB2 UDB DRDA Communication Manager sqljcReceive fnc (184.108.40.206.0.100)

I think this file is not really readable...
But perhaps, it could help someone else...
The final aim is to run sql command and as400 program with php.
With unixODBC driver, I succeded in running select query but I failed to run AS400 program because there is some OUT parameters and PHP interface and odbc_ function didn't manage OUT parameters.
So I would like to use db2_ functions but connection failed.
Thank you for your help

This forum is for System i Access for Linux issues only. I cannot help in the DB2 Connect personal edition problems.
If you are having a problem with the ODBC Client Access driver, could you please explain?
