I faced the same problem today. It got resolved when I did these:

1. Create a new workspace (File->Switch Workspace->Give a new path)
2. Go to Window->Preferences in the new workspace
3. Click the "Export..." button and specify any file name
4. Come back to the original workspace (File->Switch Workspace->Old workspace)
5. Go to Window->Preferences
6. Click the "Import..." button and specify the same file (step 3)
7. Restart the workbench

    Hi.
    I ran into problems later, and I fear they could've been because of the steps I had followed (mentioned in my earlier post on this topic). Sorry for that.
    I guess there's no way to delete that post from the forum here. Please ignore it.
